On August 22, 2006, the Board of Education clarified Cheektowaga Central’s Directory Information Designations under FERPA. Please note that PHOTOGRAPHS are designated as Directory Information. This means, for example, that the school or district may include your child’s photograph in school publications or that your child’s photo could be included in a press release. Please note that as explained below, if you do not want the school or district to disclose directory information (including his/her photograph), you must notify your child’s principal in writing by September 24, 2019 (or within 3 weeks of enterance for new students).
