UPK - 3 and 4 Year Old

  • Date Changes Due to COVID-19 School Closure

The UPK application deadline has been extended to May 15, 2020. Parents and guardians can still submit applications for the 3-year old and 4-year old programs. We have developed a UPK Application Google Form in place of the paper application. Please use the Google form for new applications. If you have already submitted a paper application, there is no need to submit again.

The lottery will be held May 21 and families will have the opportunity to view the lottery via livestream. The link to the livestream will be posted on the website homepage. Either by phone or email, families will be notified of their Application Lottery Number and the results of the lottery.

Please leave a message for Audra at 686-3616 if you have questions regarding the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program or the application and lottery process.

Universal Prekindergarten is a full-day program open to children residing in the Cheektowaga Central school district who are three or four years of age on or before December 1 of the current school year. A random lottery is required to determine participation in the program. The UPK program will follow the same curriculum implementing the Pre-K Common Core Standards taught by NYS certified teachers and follows the Cheektowaga Central school calendar.
