The Cheektowaga Central School District is providing parents, teachers, students and community members with an easy way to stay connected with the schools - a free mobile app!
The app allows users to receive school news, school building and district calendars, push notifications, text messages and more, all directly on their smartphone and mobile devices. The mobile app offers a regularly updated feed of important school news and events.
Parents are not required to download the app to continue to receive school communications, but app users have access to a number of tools that will make those communications more convenient.
“We know that our students are more successful in school when parents are engaged in their learning and school activities,” said past district superintendent, Mary Morris. “With our mobile app, parents and community members can stay connected with our schools and with the activities our students are engaged in everyday.”
