    Track & Field - States

    The Warriors Track team sent 12 athletes to the State track and field meet in Middletown NY this past weekend and had some remarkable results in what was perfect weather both days, here are the highlights:
    BOYS:
    • Jayden DuBard – finished in 2nd place in small schools in the Shot with a school record breaking toss of 55’ 1” and finished in 6th in the Federation (large and small schools combined) – he also finished in 13th in the Discus with a toss of 124’ 9.75”
    • Jake Kaminski – finished in 3rd in the HJ clearing 6’ 6” and 8th in the feds – while he took 7th in the TJ with a leap of 44’ 4.5”
    • The 4 x 100 Relay – of Isaiah Harris, Daron Lewis, Lamar Reeves, and CJ Krzanowicz, took 12th place in small schools – posting a time of 44.97
    • The 4 x 400 Relay – of Jordan Gary, Lamer Reeves, Kendrick Hampton, and Jake Kaminski – posted a time of 3:28.9 and finished in 13th place n small schools.
    GIRLS:
    • The 4 x 100 Relay – of Ally Alvira, Kahdori Goodhall, Domonique Gaines, and Jayla Moss – finished in 8th place – posting a time of 50.62

    CJ Krzanowicz and Jake Kaminski will head to University of North Carolina A&T - this coming weekend to compete in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
    • CJ – in the 100 M and the LJ
    • Jake – in the HJ and the TJ

    GIRLS:
    • The 4 x 100 Relay – of Ally Alvira, Kahdori Goodhall, Domonique Gaines, and Jayla Moss – will be heading to the State meet – posting a time of 50.15 – finishing in 2nd place and hitting the state standard.
    • Ally Alvira – finished 2nd in the TJ – with a leap of 35’ 10” – missing 1st place by 1.75”
    • Anastasia Bryant – finished 5th in the Shot – with a throw of 33’ 10.75”
    • Izzy Scott – finished 7th in the Shot – with a season best throw of 33’ 6”
    • The 4 x 400 Relay – of Brooklyn Lawrence, Jessica Ineson, Domonique Gaines, and Kahdori, Goodhall – finished 8th – with a time of 4:16.98

    Those athletes that qualified for the State meet will travel to Middleport HS in downstate NY – to compete in the State Track and Field meet this coming weekend Friday June 7th and Saturday June 8th – wish them luck and congrats if you see them.

    Sectionals – State Qualifier - Williamsville South 5/31  6/1
    This past weekend there were a number of Warrior Track and Field athletes that qualified for
    Sectionals – which was held at Williamsville South and there were a number of unbelievable and
    exceptional results, including 3 - Section 6 Champions – Jake Kaminski in the TJ, and Jayden DuBard in
    the Shot and the Discus. These 2 athletes along with 10 others will be heading to Middleport NY this
    coming weekend for the NYS Track and Field Championships. Here are some of the highlights from
    this weekend:
    BOYS:
     Jayden DuBard – was crowned sectional champion in the Shot – 53’ 4.25” and in the Discus –
    156’ 10”– he will be heading to the state meet in both events
     Jake Kaminski – won the sectional crown in the TJ – with an incredible jump of 45’ 11” and
    broke the school record in the process – he also finished 2 nd in the HJ – clearing 6’ 6” 0 he will
    be heading to States in both events
     The 4 x 400 Relay – of Jordan Gary, Lamar Reeves, Kendrick Hampton, and Jake Kaminski
    finished in 2 nd place but will also be heading to the State meet posting a time of 3:27.97 – which
    hit the state standard for the 2 nd place team.
     The 4 x 100 Relay – Isaiah Harris, Daron Lewis, Lamar Reeves, and CJ Krzanowicz – also finished
    in 2 nd place and hit the state standard with a time of 43.72 which ties the school record and
    allows them to head to the State meet as well.
     Isaiah Sharpe – finished in 3 rd place with a season best throw in the Disc – 141’ 4” and a PB in
    the Shot with a heave of 42’ 7.5”

    GIRLS:
    Jayla Moss – took 2nd overall in the 100 m – posting a 12.58 – as well as finishing 2nd in small schools in the LJ – leaping 16’ 2.5”
    The 4 x 100 Relay – of Ally Alvira, Kahdori Goodhall, Domonique Gaines, and Jayla Moss took 1st in small school as well as 3rd overall – posting a 50.50
    Ally Alvira – took 2nd place for small schools in the TJ – 34’ 3” and took 4th in the 100 hurdles 16.97
    The 4 x 800 Relay – of Tiffany and Bella Nguyen, Emily Bui, and Jade Rinaldo ran a season best time of 11:00.9 and took 2nd overall in small schools
    Domonique Gaines – dropped 2+ seconds in the 200 m finishing 4th overall hitting a time of 26.21
    Anastasia Bryant – took 3rd in small school in the Shot – 33.25”
    The remaining athletes that have qualified for Sectionals will now travel to Williamsville South this Friday and Saturday – both days starts at 12:00 - to compete for their spot on the bus to Middleport, NY for the NYS Track & Field meet which will be held on June 7th and 8th.

    This past weekend the select bunch that made ECIC’s traveled to Hamburg HS for their meet – where the boys were crowned ECIC Small school Champs and the Girls were runner ups as they had their best finish ever by taking 2nd place in small schools. There were some incredible results – here are some of them.
    BOYS:
    Jake Kaminski – won the HJ overall with a leap of 6’ 7” – also breaking his own school record, - he also won the TJ overall – leaping 42’ 7” – took 2nd in small schools in the 800 m – posting a 2:01.2
    Tamell Bass – took 2nd overall in the 110 Hurdles and smashed his own school record hitting 15.05 – as well as taking 2nd overall in the TJ – leaping 41; 6.25”
    The 4 x 400 relay – of Jordan Gary, Lamar Reeves, Kendrick Hampton, and Jake Kaminski – won the event overall – posting a season best time of 3:31.27
    Jayden DuBard – took 2nd overall in the Shot – 52’ 1.25” as well as 4th overall in the Discus – 138’ 5”
    Isaiah Sharpe – took 2nd in the Discus in small schools – 124’ 6” and 3rd in the Shot – 41’ 8.25”
