CCMS March Students of the Month

Cheektowaga Central Middle School would like to acknowledge and celebrate our students who demonstrate both academic excellence and leadership. The students that have been nominated exhibit the following qualities:

  • High academic achievement
  • Respectful towards adults and peers
  • Diligent, completing all in-class and homework assignments

Two students per grade level are chosen each month and are honored in various ways in the district. 

Please join us in congratulating the following March students of the month:

Alora
Alora is a highly motivated student who works hard to maintain strong academic grades.  Her favorite subjects are math and science, and she is considering pursuing a career as a scientist in the future. In addition to her academic pursuits, Alora is a member of the Art Club where she expresses her creativity through drawing and has recently participated in the after school volleyball program here at CCMS.

Jacob
Jacob consistently strives to do his best each day at school and his hardwork is reflected in his academic achievements this year. Jacob’s teachers have noticed his strong problem solving ability that has allowed him to overcome challenges with ease and perseverance. Jacob is an active member of the Ambassadors Club here at CCMS where he demonstrates leadership and a commitment to his community. Jacob has a passion for math and science and hopes to earn a career in the science field.

Carson
Carson is a dedicated and hard-working individual who approaches his tasks with a strong sense of determination. His teachers have reported that he values constructive criticism and uses it as an opportunity to improve and strengthen his work. Carson is preparing to test for his black belt in Tae Kwon Do next month, showcasing his discipline and perseverance in the martial arts. His future aspirations include attending Niagara University to study cybersecurity. Carson recently participated in the All-County Music Festival where he demonstrated his talents in singing.

Amelia
Amelia’s teachers have shared that she is known for offering insightful thoughts and ideas in class, demonstrating a strong capacity for critical thinking and creativity. Amelia is an active member of the CCMS STEM Club where she fosters her interest in science. Looking toward the future, Amelia would like to become an entrepreneur and open her own smoothie shop.

Cataleya
Cataleya consistently puts forth high quality work and is always willing to lend a helping hand to her peers. In addition to her success in the classroom, Cataleya demonstrates teamwork, discipline, and a competitive spirit as an athlete playing basketball and softball here at CCMS. Cataleya dreams of becoming a nurse driven by a desire to help others. She would also like to pursue a side career in comedy, blending her passion for humor with her professional goals.

Cullen
Cullen’s teachers have shared that he is a role model in the classroom, known for consistently completing assignments with much thought and effort. Cullen plays football here at CCMS where he showcases his teamwork and determination on the field. Cullen is also a member of the Chess Club where he hones his strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Some of Cullen’s future goals include becoming a lawyer or a football coach.

Sumaya
Sumaya’s teachers can all agree that she has a natural enthusiasm for learning as she is quick to engage in class discussions, always sharing thoughtful and well-considered responses. Her commitment to excellence is evident as she strives for perfection on all her assignments. Her favorite subject is ELA, particularly because she has a natural talent for writing, which she deeply enjoys. Sumaya’s passion for creativity has led her to aspire to become an architect.

Damone “DJ”
DJ’s teachers notice how he places great importance on achieving good grades as he consistently performs well on tests and always submits his assignments on time. Beyond academics, DJ is a responsible and helpful student, assisting with tasks such as passing out papers and cleaning up supplies. DJ plays baseball for CCMS and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
