Our school wide celebrations help build community and a sense of family and belonging within our buildings. It acknowledges every student for their efforts to demonstrate positive behaviors and work towards a common goal together, while motivating and encouraging students to continue demonstrating those behaviors in the future.

Today was the last student day at Cheektowaga Central High School. Students enjoyed their "End of the Year Student Cookout Celebration" during their lunch period. The cookout included a BBQ hotdog and hamburger lunch outside, a visit from the Mr. Softee ice cream truck & a relaxing time hanging out with friends. Good luck on your exams & wishing you a safe summer. Here's to a great 2018-2019 school year. Thank you to our CCHS students that worked very hard each day to do their very best in following The 5Bs.

Congrats CCHS students for reaching your February/March Behavioral Goal to increase ON TIME behavior, and have 92% or more of students on time to class.
Today all Highschool students and staff participated in a School-wide Celebration, a Staff vs. Student Basketball Game. A fun time was had by all!

Project Positive Update, High School: Congratulations to students for reaching the final behavioral goal of the year, to reduce the number of referrals. On Monday students enjoyed their schoolwide celebration: a student barbeque with hamburgers and hot dogs cooked by staff for a leisurely lunch outside. What a great way to end the year!

Project Positive Update - High School: Congratulations to students for reaching their Project Positive behavioral goal for the month of February, to reduce the use of inappropriate language in school. At the end of the school day on Fri., March 31, the entire high school community enjoyed a school-wide celebration that included various fun activities. Students followed a rotation schedule which took them to different stations including games in the gym, NCAA championship game showing in the aud, computer games, board games, video games, and lunch in the cafeteria with music playing. The celebration ended in the gym for a student versus staff basketball game. Final score was 98 to 92, a student win! What a great day!

For the month of February, Cheektowaga Central High School students reached their behavioral goal for reducing the use of inappropriate language. March 31 at the end of their school day, students will enjoy a school-wide celebration with fun activities including student-versus-staff basketball game in the gym. Congratulations to these students and their teachers!
