Our school-wide celebrations help build community and a sense of family and belonging within our buildings. It acknowledges every student for their efforts to demonstrate positive behaviors and work towards a common goal together while motivating and encouraging students to continue demonstrating those behaviors in the future.

To celebrate the end of the school year, Union East students each enjoyed a cool treat from Chilly Billy's ice cream truck today. Thank you to our Union East students that worked very hard each day to do their very best in following The 5Bs. Here's to a great 2018-2019 school year! A special thanks to our PTA for coordinating and sponsoring this special end of the year event.

Union East behavioral goal for the month of October was to increase SAFE behavior and earn at least 650 stickers as a school for SAFE behavior. Congratulations to Union East students for reaching their behavioral goal. Way to Live The Warrior Way! Students earned their School-wide celebration, to dress up in costume today and have a Monster Mash with fun games (grades UPK, K, 1, 2) and Fun Student Trivia Game with music (grades 3 &4). Fun was had by all! Special Thanks to Mrs. Sass, Union East PTA president for running the Student Trivia Game

Today was Union East’s Project Positive student kick off. Students enjoyed an engaging magic show presented by Magician Mike Seege. His presentation highlighted the importance of following the 5Bs, ways to be kind, and why not to be a bully. Special thank you to our Union East PTA for sponsoring this fun event!

During April and part of May, each class focussed on a specific RESPECTFUL behavior to work together within their classroom to improve on. Every day, each class had the opportunity to earn a sticker for successfully demonstrating that specific Respsectful behavior.
Our school-wide goal was to earn a total of 700 stickers for RESPECTFUL behavior, in order to earn a school-wide celebration. The celebration included A Teacher Volleyball Tournament, for students to cheer on their teacher's and some to participate in the game. A fun time was had by all. Congratulations to Union East students for passing their goal and earning over 700 stickers for April/May. Great job following the 5BS and working together to increase RESPECTFUL behavior.

March/April Behavioral Goal Update:During March and part of April, each class focussed on a specific safe behavior to work together within their classroom to improve on. On March 6th the entire school attended a school-wide celebration. Matt Wilhem from America's Got Talent performed a BMX bike show. Fun was had by all! Way to go following the 5Bs

Congrats Union East for passing your goal of increasing safe behavior on the bus and having 600 referral-free bus rides! On Friday, Union East students enjoyed their schoolwide celebration, a visit from the ice cream truck for all students to enjoy a tasty treat. Project Positive update, Union East Elementary School: Throughout March students and staff have been working on the behavior expectation “Be Kind.” Each day teachers reported if their students reached their daily behavioral goal for kindness. When they did, their class earned a sticker. The goal for March was to earn 750 stickers as a school. Students met this goal and earned their schoolwide celebration! On March 30 Union East students walked over to the High School gym to cheer on their teachers as they played in a staff vs. staff basketball game. Students from each grade level were also randomly selected to participate in a shootout. Congratulations, Union East students, teachers, and staff!

Project Positive Update from Union East Elementary School: Students at Union East reached their behavioral goal for the month of February, which was to increase respectful behavior. In March students enjoyed a school-wide celebration with an assembly featuring "The Right Choice," an interactive presentation that promotes positive behaviors and making good choices.
