In 2015 staff and faculty in each building completed a Self Assessement Survey (SAS). The purpose of this survey is to assess staff and faculty's perception on the overall climate in their building. The begining of the 2016-17 school year our staff and faculty were asked to complete the SAS again. Compared to last year, each buildings overall scores significantly improved. Revealing that our faculty and staffs overall perception regarding the climate in their building has become increasingly more positive.
Union East's SAS score improved from 61%to 76%, Middle School's SAS score improved from 54% to 79%, Highschool's SAS score improved from 64%to 86%, Pine Hills SAS Score improved from 39% to 76%.
Project Positive planning teams in each building will continue to analyze this data and identify the different items or areas that need improvement, and will collaborate to brainstorm possible solutions and action plan accordingly. With the continued goal of creating a school climate that encourages and promotes positive behaviors, in order to "provide every student with resources and opportunities for academic success and personal growth".
