Cheektowaga Central Middle School would like to acknowledge and celebrate our students who demonstrate both academic excellence and leadership. The students that have been nominated exhibit the following qualities:

Two students per grade level are chosen each month and are honored in various ways in the district.

Aysha
Aysha is a dedicated student known for her exceptional performance in math, consistently earning top grades through diligent and high-quality work. Beyond her academic achievements, she actively participates in extracurricular activities, including the International Club. Aysha aspires to be a news anchor in the future. She has currently earned a green belt in Taekwondo and has a passion for fashion design.

Lucian
Lucian’s teachers have reported that he consistently demonstrates a strong understanding of classroom concepts, maintaining focus and dedication to his learning. In addition to being a dedicated student, Lucian has a passion for reading, particularly The Harry Potter series. Lucian knows the importance and value of his education as he hopes to become a NASA engineer.

Lilliana
Lilliana excels both academically and athletically. Her teachers have noticed that her commitment to her studies is evident in her consistent submission of homework and her focus on achieving high grades. Outside the classroom, Lilliana is a competitive hockey player, traveling to Canada each weekend to participate in games and tournaments.

Samian
Samian’s math teacher would like to acknowledge that he consistently excels in math, completing his homework diligently and performing well on tests, quizzes, and classwork. His favorite class is physical education, where he actively participates and demonstrates enthusiasm. Samian enjoys playing soccer and building worlds in Minecraft, showcasing his creativity and problem-solving skills.

Ryan
Ryan’s teachers can all agree that he demonstrates exceptional work habits both inside and outside of the classroom. He approaches all subject areas with determination and discipline, consistently managing his time effectively, and striving for academic excellence.  His dedication is reflected in his outstanding grades but his true success comes from his commitment to learning and self-improvement. Outside the classroom, Ryan plays modified baseball here at CCMS.

Sidra
Sidra is a devoted student who enjoys listening to music and expressing her creativity through art. Her goal is to excel academically, dedicating a strong commitment to her studies. Sidra’s passion for art not only enriches her personal life, but also contributes to her academic success by fostering creativity and critical thinking skills.

Allie
Allie is a model student who consistently demonstrates preparedness, active participation, and effective collaboration in all subject areas. Beyond academics, Allie is an avid volleyball player, showcasing her teamwork and athleticism. Additionally, Allie enjoys writing and science class.

Gazi
Gazi’s math teacher notices how he consistently demonstrates proactive engagement in his math class by being the first to answer questions. His commitment to his education is further exemplified by his ability to stay on task and focused and perform well on tests and quizzes. Gazi played soccer here at CCMS as he aspires to become a well-rounded individual by strengthening both his academic and physical abilities.
